This project explores the dynamic spatial potential of the relationships between structure and envelope. The parti manifests as interior nuggets of stone core structures pushing outwards against the envelope, creating moments of slippage and ambiguity with the envelope condition. Vertical circulation are attached to the nuggets, pushed to the periphery for an open central space. The parti intrinsically exists with spatial divisions inside, outside, or between nuggets with which program is divided and spaces allocated uses. Sectionally, nuggets are pushed spatially with a triple height atrium reading space, a balcony reading space, and opportunities to view spaces below.
